What does this course entail?
First and foremost you should know that to get onto this course you must have first completed your Level 2 Health & Social Care Qualification. If that’s all done, you can apply for this course. When you make the step up to level 3 completing this course will open up the possibility of going to University and further developing your skills and getting yourself a degree. As opposed to Level 2, when you’re on this course not everything will be based in the classroom. Instead, you’ll get the chance to get some real-world work experience under your belt.

The extended diploma in health and social care is 2 years long and combines both real-world work placements and also in-class learning.
